How to be a Weaverbird with Suhel Quader

Being a weaverbird is tough. If you are a male, you have to learn how to weave a nest; then you have to compete with lots of other males for a good nesting spot, and to find a mate. If you are a female, you need to choose a good nest among all those on offer, and then battle to raise your babies on your own (the males are no help).

This Sunday, we will explore how weaverbirds do all this, in a gripping story of bravado, intrigue and betrayal –with cameos from snakes, mice and bleeding fingers!
