Jacaranda Tales: A Film Festival on Women and Nature

Jacaranda Tales is a celebration of women's symbiotic relationship with nature, recognizing their often overlooked contributions to nurturing of the environment. The 4 day festival hopes to create awareness on environmental issues, cutting across barriers of class, gender and literacy using the power of the audio-visual format. Panel discussions with eminent environmentalists and film makers will bring together women leading these efforts, and their stories, to develop insights into their extraordinary lives and struggles.
