Jacaranda Tales: A Film Festival on Women and Nature
Jacaranda Tales is a celebration of women's symbiotic relationship with nature, recognizing their often overlooked contributions to nurturing of the environment. The 4 day festival hopes to create awareness on environmental issues, cutting across barriers of class, gender and literacy using the power of the audio-visual format. Panel discussions with eminent environmentalists and film makers will bring together women leading these efforts, and their stories, to develop insights into their extraordinary lives and struggles. Birdsong Exhibition
