Science Gallery Bengaluru invites you to join the screening of K100 Citizens Waterway, a 2023 documentary that chronicles the transformation of a neglected stormwater drain in Bengaluru into a functional, flood-resilient public space. The film captures the people, process, and challenges behind this urban infrastructure project.

In this lecture, Prof. Venkataraman Lakshmi will be exploring how earth observations and modeling provide critical insights into hydrological extremes and their growing impact on society.

The session by Champaka Rajagopal will include discussions on fundamental questions of who should plan for the city, at what scale, and how. The workshop will also take a look at structural challenges and collectively revisit the planning process through tangible methods, in the hopes of a better Bengaluru.
