In today’s data-driven world, geospatial technologies are transforming how citizens engage with public issues. How then can we use publicly available data to promote transparency, inform decision-making, and empower citizens and communities to actively contribute to governance?
In this workshop organised by the Science Gallery Bengaluru, Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) Geospatial Lab will train participants on how to access and use freely available geospatial tools to visualise local issues, enhance public awareness, and contribute to civic initiatives. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, a student, or a concerned citizen, this session will provide you with practical skills to harness the potential of digital mapping for public good.
Participants are required to bring their own laptops for this event.
