ಕ್ಲೈಮೇಟ್ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಪಾಡ್ಕಾಸ್ಟ್ನ ಈ ಸಂಚಿಕೆ, ಭಾರತದ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರ ಸಂಚಾರ, ಸಮಾನತೆ, ಹವಾಮಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳ ಮಿಳಿತವನ್ನು ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಎಸ್ (ಬಯೋಮ್) ಅವರು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಂಚಾರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಹೃದ್ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿರುವ ಇಬ್ಬರು ತಜ್ಞರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಭಾಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಪ್ರವರ್ ಚೌಧುರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಹೀನ್ ಶಾಸ

Shaheen Shasa
is an active bus commuter and urban activist based in Bengaluru. She is a founding member of Bengaluru Bus Prayanika Vedike (BBPV), a citizen’s forum advocating for better public bus service in the city. After a decade in the tech industry, she moved to the non-profit social sector to follow her passion. Since then, she has been working on urban mobility, education and citizenship and currently consults for a non-profit.

ಶಾಹೀನ್ ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮೂಲದ ಬಸ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ನಗರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು. ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಬಸ್ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುವ ನಾಗರಿಕ ವೇದಿಕೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬಸ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಸದಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದಶಕದ ಕಾಲ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಆಕೆ ತನಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದ ಲಾಭರಹಿತ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ನಗರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಿಗೆ , ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಗರಿಕತೆಯ ವಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಲಾಭರಹಿಸ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಲಹಾಗಾರರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Pravar Chaudhury
Pravar Chaudhury is a designer with experience in architecture, tech, and urban planning. He enjoys telling stories on the internet and is the founder of Bengawalk. In his free time Pravar likes to play music and book tickets on IRCTC.
Currently Bengawalk is producing video essays on Youtube about public spaces and public transport. Bengawalk also makes apps and websites, is working with the local government, and can be seen across the city building things that can improve the quality of our lives.

ಪ್ರವರ್ ಅವರು ವಾಸ್ತುಶಿಲ್ಪ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ನಗರ ಯೋಜನೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನುಭವ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಡಿಸೈನರ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಥನಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ ಇವರ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಠತೆ. ಇವರು ಬೆಂಗಾವಾಕ್ ಎಂಬ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು. ಬಿಡುವಿನ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವರ್ ಸಂಗೀತ ನುಡಿಸಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಐಆರ್ ಸಿಟಿಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಬುಕ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಾವಾಕ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಯೂಟ್ಯೂಬ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸ್ಥಳ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವೀಡಿಯೊ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಅವರು ಆ್ಯಪ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವೆಬ್ಸೈಟ್ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿ ನಗರದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಜನರ ಜೀವನದ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
